Yeah, Tumblr seems to have conquered my online free time, but no where near as much as Facebook has. Either way, Tumblr has become a very positive outlet for me, something Facebook never was.
It was. In fact, I ended up reactivating it the first time. After a week of that, I finally realized how much time it’s killing, how pissed off I’d get at everyone, and how it actually held me back from expressing myself in every way possible. I had to be cautious about certain things I wrote, and once I realized that I was compromising who I am for the sake of not offending someone else, I finally got rid of it.
Totally recommend everyone to do the same. Not for the sake of privacy, not for the sake of time-wasting, but for the sake of yourself. We have such little time on this earth - do you want a chunk of it dedicated to liking posts, making updates about your relationships, clicking through photos of friends, or discovering yourself and the world around you?
If it’s pasta, sandwiches or quesadillas, I’d be glad to! Trying my best to learn new recipes, so if you have any requests, I’d be glad to make an attempt to hopefully not poison you cook it!
